Liquid Level Control

Liquid Level Control

Liquid Level Control

(OP)
Dear all, I need to know the correct SOP for setting a displacer type liquid level controller for interface control within a horizontal separator with a spill over weir. The process fluid are water with a SG of 1.1 and light oil with a SG of 0.5. This is for a new start up. The controller is a leveltrol 2500. Thanks gents

RE: Liquid Level Control

Wow. I used those kind of instruments (Pneumatic transmitters) early Eighties. Since then we moved to the Electronic output displacer, Then to DP transmitter and now we are using Radar transmitters.

You have to follow the instructions at:
http://www.documentation.emersonprocess.com/groups...
See in page 15, at the very bottom-left picture of the the knobs, one for zero and one for specific gravity.
Good Luck
