Dog leg pipe in Offshore riser

Dog leg pipe in Offshore riser

Dog leg pipe in Offshore riser

(OP)
I have some problem to design dog leg pipe in offshore riser

- Can the dog leg pipe constructed like “L” shape or 90 degree bend , because the term dog leg pipe usually related to Z shapes or 45 Deg bend pipe, what international code or standard accommodate this design?

- What the protection (from drop object study) should be used to prevent dog leg pipe rupture (leak)

RE: Dog leg pipe in Offshore riser

There should be no difference in design or protection for this pipe than any other pipe.

Your post has no details or explanation of what your "problem" is so the response is also vague and has no details.

Provide more details and a drawing/sketch and w might get somewhere....

My motto: Learn something new every day

Also: There's usually a good reason why everyone does it that way
