Deformable constraints

Deformable constraints

Deformable constraints

(OP)
Hi All,

I have a small problem which im sure there will probably be an easy solution.

I have created an assembly with two parts, i have then assembly cut these parts. I now want to add this sub assembly to multiple assemblies but in each assembly i want the distance between the two parts to be different, how would i go about doing this?

Thanks in Advance

James

RE: Deformable constraints

Try creating multiple Arrangements each with a different Constraint distance.

RE: Deformable constraints

Is deformable part applicable to assemblies ?

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the responses, i figured out a way around it, instead of using a distance constraint i made sure that they were inline with each other (constrained the holes in the guide) and then i used 'override position' and i was able to change the distance without affecting the original model.
