Dimensions control using ''ImageJ'' image software processing

(OP)
Morning all,
I am a mechanical engineer, and I have a project during my internship, we have to measure dimensions using photos taken by camera (free hand), so they proposed to used ''imagej" image software processing, I have followed several tutos on internet and I have used several plugins such as "Absnake", so my main problem is that I can't extract the countour even when I have converted the image to binary ( there still some noise on the image) see attachement, I wonder if someone have an idea on how to proceed at least, I would be thankful,

Cheers
