Ug Nx on XPpro Sp1 Problem??

Ug Nx on XPpro Sp1 Problem??

(OP)
Hi

I'm running Ug NX on Windows XPpro,..Service Pack 1

There is lot of problem with that.

1- Ug can't remember menu positions nor menu settings
2- Ug can't locate recent open files,..seem to be a
    coruption of windows registry

I tried UG version 18,..it do all the same,..
it seem to be a problem from xp sp1

If u have heard about a solution ,..please let me know about.

RE: Ug Nx on XPpro Sp1 Problem??

The problem is UG is trying to run in Win2000 mode.
Rename this file "ungraphics.sdb" in the UGII folder to "ungraphics.bak" and start UG, it should work.

Regards

Mick

RE: Ug Nx on XPpro Sp1 Problem??

Did this correct your problem?  I tried renaming the unigraphics.sdb file, and it didnt change anything.  Are there any other suggestions?

RE: Ug Nx on XPpro Sp1 Problem??

Check out the official UG BBS in the CAD conference. The fix is in there, just posted this afternoon.

Appologies.

Uninstall unigraphics.sdb first then rename.
Use

sdb inst -u unigraphics.sdb
