Induction heating Vs Resistance Heating

(OP)
Dear All,

In which case the ''Induction Heating'' of piping components are mandatory over ''Resistance Heating''?? Is there any code reference or bindings..?

Thanks in advance,
Alok

RE: Induction heating Vs Resistance Heating

None that I can think of in US codes and standards. This is a process detail, or decided by the owner/user of engineering firm.

RE: Induction heating Vs Resistance Heating

Ditto metengr, none in the USA.

RE: Induction heating Vs Resistance Heating

None in ASME Code. Is a decision of User or Client.
