Inserting a decal and having it NOT pattern

Inserting a decal and having it NOT pattern

Inserting a decal and having it NOT pattern

I hate to ask a question I definitely have known the answer to, but sometimes when SolidWorks upgrades to newer versions some simple things are hard to find. The question:

When I import a decal from a *.jpg file, how do I import it, and NOT have it pattern. I just want one decal, not 78 all over the part. I can't find the setting.

RE: Inserting a decal and having it NOT pattern

Sounds like you are dropping the jpg directly onto the part. You need to convert the jpg to a decal format (.p2d) first.

CBL - or others, apparently, I never did this the right way in the first place. How do you normally convert from *.jpg to decal format - *.p2d ?
