Hello,
I have noticed that in catalogues for AAAC conductors, the dc resistance at 20 degrees is given. Could someone please tell me why this resistance is given since it is not used in calculating the ac resistance at a particular temperature or frequency?

I would be very interested in the losses in these relatively new conductor types. The resistance is important in such calculations. Why it is given at 20 C - why not? It is a convenient temperature and since the Al tempco is known, you can easily recalculate if needed.
