Acceptable jacobian for wedge elements

Acceptable jacobian for wedge elements

(OP)
Hi,

I am doing an analysis with contact that involves a rubber seal (mooney rivlin model) and I am having a problem with getting rid of wedge elements in some areas (the mesh is mostly brick elements with good aspect ratio and jacobian values).
I understand that in nature the jacobian for wedge elements is high, but I have some wedges that are near the value 1 (0.998) in the seal in areas that go through a large amount of deformation.
Is this value of jacobian for wedge elements acceptable?

Thanks.
