Custom Fill Color in Drafting
Custom Fill Color in Drafting
(OP)
Hello,
(Currently using Nx 8.5)
I have been able to create a custom color in Preferences > Background, but cannot seem to access that color anywhere else, for example: Insert > Annotation > Area Fill > Color. I am trying to create an image to export as a simple jpeg and the color grey which I need is very specific. I notice when I try to do an "Area Fill" with any light grey color (Ash grey or Light grey) they all end up looking exactly like Medium grey. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

RE: Custom Fill Color in Drafting
Menu -> Preferences -> Color Palette...
Note that setting a 'Background' color is independent of this function as it works directly with the Windows color palette, whereas the NX Color Palette is what's used for assigning the color to any object created in NX. Backgrounds are just that, backgrounds and NOT an actual NX object.
