Slotted Spring Pin Position Tolerance?

Slotted Spring Pin Position Tolerance?

Slotted Spring Pin Position Tolerance?

(OP)
I have been trying to do some digging on what is an acceptable position tolerance for a spring pin on both mating parts to ensure that the pin will still go in. They use them as a locator, but do use a soft blow mallet to assemble, so they don't necessarily have to be perfect...if that makes any sense. I realize it don't need to be as tight as a dowel, but I can't seem to find any information on this. What do some of you guys use for a rule of thumb?

Thanks guys!
