Brnel & Kjµr archival manuals needed

Brnel & Kjµr archival manuals needed

(OP)
Hello everyone,
I am currently working on propeller shafts dynamics an I am about to use Brüel & Kjær equipment, specifically a Vibration Meter 2511, a Tunable Filter 1621 and a Level Recorder 2306. Unfortunately I have encoutered a problem of lack of documentation and instruction manuals for those devices. I am qiute unexperienced in vibration analysis and i've never used such kind of equipment. Is it possible to get archival copies of those manuals from somewhere? I would be very grateful for any reply or sugestion. Maybe someone has it in pdf?
Greetings.

RE: Brnel & Kjµr archival manuals needed

Are you really serious about trying to use these very old analog instruments? I have a 200-page B&K publication "Vibration Analysis of Machinery I" that describes these old analog instruments and the "new" (at that time) digital instruments (date stamped Dec 3, 1982). B&K also published a larger book "The Application of Vibration Measurement and Analysis in Machine Maintenance" (Lecture notes dated 1978). There are probably no documents anywhere for these instruments in PDF digital format, so I suggest you contact B&K directly.

Thank you for your reply. it's true that I wuold like to use some kind of newer and more advanced equipment, but I have no acces to them currently. Temporarliy I have to use those (but there is a hope of getting something better - will see if it succeed).

I've contacted B&K already and they are about to lend me they original documentation, so I will be able to make copies.

Thank you! And I think this topic can be considered as closed.

Yeah, I've found that already, but it's not quite what I was looking for. Thank You anyway.
B&K branch in my country just replied me, and i have a cnfirmation that they will send me their original, printed manuals and I'll make copies and send them back.

I have to admit that they have really nice Customer Care Policy.

A nice customer Kjær policy. Let's face it, they can afford it.

That's what I tought 'cause I've aready managed to force meter and filter to work together, but recorder was the another story. Anyway I just want all the manuals just to be sure that anything unexpected won't stop me again.
Cheers.
