NX Basic Dimensions with Quantities

Is there a way to get the basic dimension box to go around a quantity? For example
________
|8x .250 | instead of
_______
8x |.250|

Or the same on an angle. In the ASME y14.5-2009 it shows the quantity inside the basic box.

RE: NX Basic Dimensions with Quantities

Y14.5M-2009 section 1.9.5 says "Where used with a basic dimension, the X may be placed either inside or outside the basic dimesnion frame."
The software meets the spec, so getting a toggle for company preferance will require an enhancement request. My guess it would get a low priority since the code already 'meets' the standard.

Can you show me where it says that, so I can forward on to the other people to prove that to them?

Thank you!
