JT viewer for NX assembly in TCE

JT viewer for NX assembly in TCE

How to add JT viewer for NX assembly in TCE?? I did below method though its not showing up in JT preview.

1. Toggled on 'Save JT preview' in NX assembly. (JT viewer is not created).
2. Export=>JT..from NX and than imported as direct model in item revision (JT model is created however its no showing up in JT preview)
Saving JT is working for piece parts however its not woking for assembly.

RE: JT viewer for NX assembly in TCE

JTs are created from the model reference set (i.e. for modelled parts).

Assemblies in Vis work the same way as they do in NX, by collecting together JTs of components.

So you need to select the BOMView in TC, and view that in your viewer, which will then load the components.

That works, My intent was to add JT viewer in item revision so that user can see JT preview if the dont want to direct to the structure manager.

RE: JT viewer for NX assembly in TCE

I just had a look, no such option in mine. Would be a good enhancement as well I think.
