Variable rads

Variable rads

(OP)
In edge blend you can put in a variable rad for example a 5mm radius in one corner of a edge down to a 1mm radius in the other corner of a edge. Is there a way to do this in face blend if so how can I do this?

Thank you.

Regards Daniel lamb

RE: Variable rads

Hi Daniel,

You can do it in the normal edge blend command in NX8.5.

RE: Variable rads

In the face blend command, change the radius method to "law controlled"; this will open up options for controlling the radius along the blend path.

RE: Variable rads

Wonder if I can delete my previous post for not reading the question properly. It's been a busy day!

RE: Variable rads

Just 'Red Flag' it and ask that it be removed. Of course you'll need to ask that your second post, asking how to remove the post, and mine, telling you what to do, also will need to be removed winky smile

RE: Variable rads

And this one John, thanking you for the info.

Perhaps I'll just leave it there for all to see my error.
