selecting nodes within a cylinder

selecting nodes within a cylinder

selecting nodes within a cylinder

(OP)
Hi,
I have a problem with selecting all nodes that are within a cylinder whose origin I put in a specific node.
My first approach:

nsel,none
LOCAL,1000,CYLIN,-8.1172e-002,0.31951,2.5e-002

nsel,s,loc,X, Y, Z ! But how do I define to select all nodes existing within the a cylinder with a radius r=1 and z=5

RE: selecting nodes within a cylinder

X=radius, Y = theta, and Z = Z for a cylindrical CS.
