What's your Code of Construction?

RE: Weld joint & Temperature derating factor

(OP)
ASME B 31.4 & 31.8

RE: Weld joint & Temperature derating factor

I will be sarcastic:

Do not leak under assumed design conditions of load, temperature, pressure, corrosion and erosion for the assumed lifetime of the pipe.

RE: Weld joint & Temperature derating factor

rizpet23467,
Add to racookpe1978, specified minimum yield strength of the pipe and the Safety Factor for installations in low to high populated locations, under roads and railroads and in compressor locations.

Public Safety!!! What did you think???

RE: Weld joint & Temperature derating factor

I think your post title had more information in it than the post. I think you'll have to be more detailed and specific in your request for information from the forum.
