Does anyone have any information about the scientific principles that are applied during ejection.
i.e. Timing mechanisms,
Forces,
Single and Double Shear of Rivets,
and the two seats compared together and how they have made improvements for a safer ejection.

What makes the new seat safer is the way that it ejects and the forces produced when it ejects.
The timings are done by the charges ie when the pilot pulls the ejector handle a charge is fired that burns rather like a firework pulling in the pilots limbs ejecting the canopy and then the ram is fired to eject the seat clear of the a/c after this a rocket is fired to propel the seat sufficiently high enough for the parachute to work (in the case of zero forward speed and zero height)
In the new seat the burning of the charges is very uniform this reduces the maximum force generated and hence is less likely to break the users neck!
Also the new seat 'flies' and is much more stable in motion after exiting the aircraft.
i dont think they will tell you specifics but they will provide you with most of the info you require.
