Controlling solid body visibility at assembly level

Controlling solid body visibility at assembly level

Controlling solid body visibility at assembly level

(OP)
Hi All,

I have been sent a part by our customer that contains a complete assembly of solid body features. I am using this part as a component in a number of different assemblies but I need to show different bodies from within this part in each of the assemblies. Is there a method to control the visibility of different body features within a component at the parent assembly level?

Many thanks

Dave

RE: Controlling solid body visibility at assembly level

You could use either Reference Sets where some bodies were included in one Reference Set while others in another, or layers where different bodies were on different layers and then in your Drawing you would use the 'Visibility in View' function to dictate which layers were 'ON' in which Drawing views.
