upgrade toTeamcenter 10.1 "forces" extreme slow update-time in NX PartFamily Members

(OP)
Hi -

We have updated our Teamcenter from 8 to 10.1 ( 500+ users)

As result af this upgrade ,is, when we are creating or (updating existing) PartFamily Members it takes very long time.

Let's say we have a simple PartFamily within 30 members - it takes about 45-60sec for each member to be created or updated.

We are running NX8.5.3.xx.

Can someone maybee give just a litte Tip - what can be the cause of this unfortunate circumstance ?

RE: upgrade toTeamcenter 10.1 "forces" extreme slow update-time in NX PartFamily Members

Same behavior here under Tc10.1 and NX8.5.2
It seems that Creating/Updating Part Families in Tc/NX is only getting worse with new releases...
My best advice is to bypass the NX interface and build up your own API code for all Part Family function you need. It's finally nothing much more than reading an Excel file and it's way faster.
