mouse button customization

(OP)
- to manipulate your model on screen via mouse buttons can facilitate most operations ; zooming and panning with the mouse wheel is of huge benefit  ... yet view rotation must still be initiated with F4 .... why hasn't that function been included in the mouse's features?
- we need to activate Inventor view ROTATION by holding down both left and right mouse buttons (instead of F4)..... this would likely be implemented via some setting in Inventor ..... anyone know how to accomplish this? -
- (this is not only my idea.. Alibre incorporates just such a feature .. check it out) -

thanx

RE: mouse button customization

You can probably get this to work by downloading a seperate mouse program that lets you fire off macros from particular mouse clicks. Just asign F4 to 'press both buttons' and do it that way.

Kensington do one that you cna download from their website, I think.
