Mess sensitivity issue regarding damage theory

Mess sensitivity issue regarding damage theory

(OP)
Hi everyone,

I am trying to use the damage theory in a simple ABAQUS model to see whether the damage theory can successfully overcome the mesh sensitivity issue during strain softening. I have gone through the manual and it clearly indicates that ABAQUS can do it! But I can not find any example on that, can anyone help me with it? A simple model with proper input parameters would be great! However, any tips or reference would be greatly appreciated!
