These are the reduced wall thickness allowed in the body neck and in the packing bore as determined by the bore diameter, not by the port diameter of the valve. Refer to the text preceedng this figure where it explains the difference between tm and t'. t'1 is the wall thickness in the lower shaft bore, and t'2 is the wall thickness at the packing bore.

Thanks for the reply.

tm is the minimum wall thickness based on bore diameter mentioned as per table 3A & 3B.
t as per 16.34 should be more than tm. That too is fine.
Now what about t1' and t2' , how do we arrive on these values. Only when you arrive on these values you can calculate e,f' & g'.

t1" and t2" are the local BFV neck thickness corresponding to d1' and d2'
