Hast B vs Hast C for demister pad grid on top of HCl scrubber

Hast B vs Hast C for demister pad grid on top of HCl scrubber

Hast B vs Hast C for demister pad grid on top of HCl scrubber

(OP)
We are replacing an HCl scrubber that has an existing Teflon demister pad that has Hast B grid (at least that is what the drawings indicate).
We want to know if Hast C276 will work in this low HCl concentration, low temperature, environment.

We know that Hast B is better for boiling HCl (lower corrosion rate), but does that difference go away at lower temperatures/concentrations?
