How do you model a grated inlet catch basin in wspg? I know we model it as a JX but in case we have free surface flow entering in catch basin how do you enter this flow? There is no lateral going here either....

you analyze the surface flow in the gutter and the grate by hand and the flow that enters the grate can be input into the JX in WSPG. make sure to compare the hgl in the JX to the grate elevation and provide freeboard as required.

its been a long time since I last ran WSPG, but I thought there were flow cards
