Ansys WB. User defined result option and bending moment in beam189 element.

(OP)
Dear Ansys users,

I would like to read bending moments from my beam189 elements. In Ansys WB it is easy to plot bending moment diagram as colored maps with legend. It is very inaccurate.

How can I obtain exact results in node / integration point of my beam189 element?
I tried to use User Defined Result option, but expression "MY" doesn't work for geometry type such as node or edge.

Thank you in advance.

RE: Ansys WB. User defined result option and bending moment in beam189 element.

Inexact results in what context? Compared to your textbook solution? Are you sure that you've set boundary conditions and loads properly?
