Using NX 8.5. I have a large assembly with many views where auto-balloon would not make sense. I have inserted my Parts List, now is there a way to insert single balloons that when I pick the balloon location on the part will put in the corresponding item number from the parts list? I don't usually use integral parts lists so this is a first for me.

Still on NX6, but this is how it has been done for a long time...
Put the balloons in without any text, then update the parts list. As long as the leaders are touching components, they should update.

Thanks, I knew it had to work and was something simple (usually is). I did not see anything explaining this in the help file. Thanks ENG TIPs! and those who responded.
