RE: Switch to Modeling

I didn't look at the movie, but you need to consider that all the Modeling licenses at your location are being utilized by others

RE: Switch to Modeling

Another guess... did you check under Start -> All Applications?

RE: Switch to Modeling

Try using the keyboard shortcut for getting back into modeling: Ctrl + M.
The video shows that Gateway is the only option from drafting. Try switching to Gateway and see if you can get to other applications from there. It may be that the drafting menu has been customized (either intentionally or not) to remove the other applications. If you use any MenuScript customizations at your site, perhaps there is an error in one of the .men files.

@cowski

Drafting is the only option from Gateway.

I'm not working under managed mode in this particular case..

but i will investigate about the .men files.

if any of you have another clue I would appreciate all your help

If i cant fix this maybe i need to install all again.

RE: Switch to Modeling

Also check the customization: right click in the toolbar area (whitespace) and select customize, right click the NX start button and choose 'add or remove buttons', make sure all the applications you use have check marks next to them. Close the customization and check the NX start button.

RE: Switch to Modeling

Is it possible that you've started NX using the 'Power Drafting' option? If you're launching NX from the Windows Start menu, it's possible that you may have selected the wrong launch item.

@JohnRBaker

I used %UGII_BASE_DIR%\UGII\ugraf.exe to launch NX

@cowski

Finally !!.. your suggestion was right.. I do not know why those options were hidden.. i worked on NX yesterday and everything was fine.. but today something happened...

Thank you very much !
