Fundamentals of water atomisation: any references?

Fundamentals of water atomisation: any references?

(OP)
Hello

I would like to know if anyone could point me to some references about atomisation.

The system I am look at is a water atomiser/spray, which goal is to atomise the liquid, enhancing the interfacial area between it and the surrounding atmosphere.

I would like to be able to estimate the superficial area of the droplets, and use this for a reaction model.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

RE: Fundamentals of water atomisation: any references?

Spraying Systems Co. has always been helpful. Bete Fog Nozzle, Inc. has "Talk to an Engineer"

Good luck,

Technically, the glass is always full - 1/2 air and 1/2 water.
