Amada FO3015 Appr. Data

Amada FO3015 Appr. Data

(OP)
How do we get the Appr. Data to work. We set is select it, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Is there a special way to enable it? We used Appr Data 201. Set 201 for 1900hz and 80 duty cycle from the 2000/75 we were using, when we run the program, Freq stays at 2000/75.

Am I missing something obvious?

Suppose I should let you know what we are struggling with:

5052 Aluminum .250" Thick, we almost have it, unfortunately we do not have a 4.0 Double like the cutting conditions spreadsheet posted here suggests. We think if we could get the Appr. Data to work, it may help.

What nozzle are you using?

Getting the correct nozzle would be the best course of action.

If I remember correctly you cannot have both approach data and fine edge data enabled so make sure fine edge is not on.

We use a regular number 3 nozzle. Speed 34 on fiberlaser 2kw.For me it is very similar than ss. We have a little dross but with our thumb we can remove it.
