Bonding Aluminium to Plyboard

Bonding Aluminium to Plyboard

Bonding Aluminium to Plyboard

(OP)
Hi

Can you please advise me on the best thing to Bond 3mm sheets of Aluminium to 16mm Structural Ply board .
The size of the sheets are 800mm wide x 2700 high .
Its for high Spec Shop Cabinets which are inside a retail shop so there needs to be no chance of it coming unstuck & must adhere the sheet all over so as we don't get ripples at all.

The answer might be as simple as contact adhesive , but just wanted clarification.

thanks in advance
chris

RE: Bonding Aluminium to Plyboard

If the environment is climate controlled indoors, then probably just about any adhesive would work. If the forces are high, choose structural adhesive. The adhesive manufacturers are helpful: 3M, Loctite, Devcon, MasterBond, Sika, etc.
