HEC-RAS Visual Issue

HEC-RAS Visual Issue

HEC-RAS Visual Issue

(OP)
Hello,

I am modeling a bridge in HEC-RAS and have noticed that the Bridge Deck does not show up in the Profile Plot view. The bridge low chord values are shown with lines going straight down to the bottom of my cross sections. The Bridge Deck DOES show up in Cross Section viewer and in XYZ viewer. It seems to me that the bridge is still included in the calculations, but it just doesn't show up on that one view.

If anyone knows how to fix this/ is able to offer any advice, please do!

Thank you,
Blong93

RE: HEC-RAS Visual Issue

is it because the way how you define your bridge deck and roadway elevations? make sure you do it right by opening the bridge editor under geometry. There are certain orders you need to follow when you type in station/elevations.

It may be, but I always open the editor through the geometry window. I could definitely try re-entering all the bridge data again, though.
