Virtual Server Question

Virtual Server Question

Virtual Server Question

(OP)
Our server is old and thinking moving to a virtual server using Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard. Question, any of you folks doing this and if so, are you seeing a performance hit?

We are moving from SW2012 to SW2014 using PDMWorks as our vault. I may wait till SW2015 is released. I was at a rollout yesterday and is incredible!

Thank you very much,

RE: Virtual Server Question

Hi Colin,
Not much of a performance hit, but we did have problems at first doing the change.
We had to update the server because '14 would not run on the old server.
Our IT guy had to contact Microsoft to update the files on the new server.
