Field Fix for Bent A307 Anchors

Field Fix for Bent A307 Anchors

(OP)
Is it possible to hot or cold bend A307 anchors like F1554? I don't have the A307 specification, but it's my understanding the F1554 specification provides guidance for hot or cold bending damaged anchors. How would cold bending be achieve exactly? Through what process?

RE: Field Fix for Bent A307 Anchors

It is possible to cold or hot bend A307 anchors. I would recommend cold bending if possible, especially if the anchor is galvanized. A big hammer or sufficiently long pipe can be used to bend the anchors.

Note: ASTM A307 Grade C was withdrawn in 2008.
