Neutral grounding of generator

(OP)
If multiple synchronous generator earthed through neutral grounding transformer located in same power house . Shall one generator neutral be earthed or all the generators ?

RE: Neutral grounding of generator

All should be grounded through a grounding transformer

RE: Neutral grounding of generator

It depends on how the generators are connected to the system. If there is a dedicated unit transformer for each generator, each needs its own grounding resistor. If the generators are directly connected to a common bus, you have more choices and decisions to make.
