Problems with Firewal!!!

Problems with Firewal!!!

Problems with Firewal!!!

(OP)
Hello everyone!

Anyone know how I can enlist rules in the Firewall for using NX license???

Because I can´t turn off the firewell on the server and will not let me connect to a client computer sadeyes

Thank you

RE: Problems with Firewal!!!

You need to edit the license file you are using first.

There is a line in there:

VENDOR ugslmd

Edit it so that you have:

VENDOR ugslmd PORT=28005

The 28005 is specifying the second port that the license server uses, so it's fixed and not dynamic.

You then need to create firewall rules for ports 28000 and 28005 to allow traffic through on both the server and client systems

Hello PhoeNX

Thank you very much for your answer !!!!

But I'm not sure how to make the input and output rule in the firewall

What rule I need to apply... TCP, UDP or both ports?

Thank you!

RE: Problems with Firewal!!!

TCP for both, ports 28000 and 28005, inbound and outbound
