QuickCad v7 - How to *.dwg to *.plt for printing A0 or A1

QuickCad v7 - How to *.dwg to *.plt for printing A0 or A1

QuickCad v7 - How to *.dwg to *.plt for printing A0 or A1

(OP)
I have QuickCAD v7, made drawings in *.CAD and *.DWG format, but desire to print them in a large size format, eg A0 or A1 size. As I only have A4 printer, I need a Commercial printer but they only seem to use *.plt files. The QuickCAD does not output the drawings as *.plt files.
Is there another way, without buying the Autocad?
Any help would be useful.

RE: QuickCad v7 - How to *.dwg to *.plt for printing A0 or A1

From a Autodesk post:

To create a .PLT file, first find out what kind of plotter they're going
to use to plot it, then install the same printer driver in your own
Windows Printers folder & when your ready to create the .PLT, choose
that driver to print with.

Next, in the QuickCAD "Print" dialog box put a check mark into "Print to
file" then click "OK".  On the "Print File" screen that comes up, at the
top choose someplace you can easily find the file & then at the bottom
give the file a name (such as SmithHome.PLT) & click the "Save" button.
Take or send that .PLT file to whoever's going to print it for you, &
they should then be able to "Copy" the file to a printer port from an
MS-DOS prompt.

Either QuickCAD Millennium 6 or QuickCAD Millennium 7 will work exactly
that same way.
