How to locate and dimension datum targets in drawings and modify there locations in a drawing.

(OP)

I created datum targets in a drawing and added dimensions and I understand that. I want to know how to modify the dimensions locating the datum targets to move them etc dim 25 needs to be 20.

Thank you,

Jeff

Double click on dimension and change it.

I don't like the datum targets in SW. They don't usually work quite as they should.

Usually, I attach the datum targets to a sketched entity, e.g. draw the target as a sketched circle on a drawing view and attach the target to the circle with a plain leader.
