Sheet metal in NX 8.5

Sheet metal in NX 8.5

RE: Sheet metal in NX 8.5

Do you mean 'flatten' or 'straighten'?

Irrespective of that issue, since this sort of item is NOT manufactured as a 'Sheet Metal' part but rather as a piece of stock seamless tubing formed using pipe bending and swaging tools, the use of any sort of 'sheet metal' application tp model this item would be inappropriate.

In case I have a seem on tube 500mm in diametar ,2m long, with some angle (or curved) on one end, is it possible to do a sheet metal model and unfold it?

Thank you!

RE: Sheet metal in NX 8.5

Highly unlikely.
