Can anyone tell me how to enter the joint coordinates in RISA, for a 2D plane frame? I have tried everything but cannot figure it out.

Think I got it figured out. Have to click on a space with lettering in it to allow you to input coordinates. Then have to press return key for each successive joint.

RE: 2D FRAME

If you aren't already familiar with it, there is a drawing grid feature as well. To use it, hit the little pencil button in the second toolbar from the top to open the "Model View" toolbar. Then hit the button that looks like a pencil over a grid to open the grid dialogue. Then it is a matter of setting up what you want your drawing grid to be. Unless the model is complicated, I seem to prefer this method better for laying out my models.
