hi,

Can anyone please explain me clearly about what exactly is the radius of curvature means? I went through a lot of documents online but could not get it right. Can i have an simple example which explains this concept clearly with an Application.

To add to what Eric said......

Radius of Curvature is the radius of a curve at a point on the curve. It is a way to measure how smooth the curve is by graphing the radius of curvatures along the length of the curve.

-the radius of curvature of a circle is a constant value

-the radius of curvature of a line is infinity

-the radius of curvature of a spline curve is constantly changing
