Definitions for Standard Chinese Abbreviations for Aux Relasy

Definitions for Standard Chinese Abbreviations for Aux Relasy

(OP)
I'm trying to commission a large sytem designed and built by a Chinese contractor for a power plant in Central America. The owner severed the relationship with the EPC contractor so I can't get answers from the design engineers.

The protection relay logic and all the breaker controls use standard 3-letter relay names that indicate the relay function, something like the ANSI numbering.

I'm looking for a description of what the terms mean. Examples:

KKJ = 52a slave relay "Post Closed"
TBJ = Trip Seal In
TBJV = "Soft Lockout and Anti-Pump"
TWJ = Breaker Open (52b)
HWJ = Closed (52a)
YHJ = Manual CLose Input
YTJ = Manual Trip Input.

I searched the internet but could not find an English version. I've been assuming that it is not an IEC standard because a Chinese engineer here said the abbeviations are from the first sounds of the Chinese words.

Any one have an index?

Thank you. That helps some, but does not have all the abbreviatiosn I am seeing on these hard-wired logic diagrams.

It is an NR Electric CZX-12R2 relay with hard wired logic for 230 kV line breaker control. The relay does logic for anti-pumping, low SF6, trip coil monitoring, close coil monitoring, single phase reclose permissive, pole disagreement, three pole tripping, dual power supply monitoring and throw over plus several other functions. All the primary (SEL311L) and secondary (SEL421) trip and close ouptuts go through this relay. It cross connects the primary and backup DC system and trip coils. We are unable to close or trip the breaker if this device isn't working.

I need to understand the logic so I can throw that relay away and use the 311 & 421.

Panel desinger connected the SEL EHST Extra High Speed Output triping contacts to the CZX trip inputs where it goes through about 6 electronic relays before picking up an ABB auxiliary tripping relay that finally energizes the breaker coil. Slow tripping? Also, how are they doing trip coil monitorng with that many series devices?

I'll stop complaining now and get to work.
