STEEL CONNECTIONS SLIDES

hey ,

can anyone provide me with slides (power point or pdf) about steel connections.

i was asked to train new graduate engineers in my company and i don't have time to prepare anything .

any slide would be ok i just need headlines so that they can take notes during my presentation.

Thank you :)

RE: STEEL CONNECTIONS SLIDES

If you want to teach new engineers how to design steel connections, the best way to do that is to use the AISC Design Examples publication. It can be downloaded (a pdf file) from the AISC website. Examples showing the design of every imaginable connection type are in this publication. Print a copy for each of your new engineers and use it as a teaching tool. It is the best resource available for learning to design steel connections - and it's FREE for AISC members!

RE: STEEL CONNECTIONS SLIDES

Actually, AISC Design Examples is free for everyone. It has 928 pages so you might not want to make a copy for everyone. But I agree that would be an excellent reference.
