Could be considered to use SB-75 in lieu SB-359 ?

Could be considered to use SB-75 in lieu SB-359 ?

(OP)
Our specification just consider SB-359 for tube material (chiller) and the supplier is using SB-75.

RE: Could be considered to use SB-75 in lieu SB-359 ?

its the same material. 75 is before finning, after finning is 359,
if supplier is giving finned tube, they're using the wrong name spect

RE: Could be considered to use SB-75 in lieu SB-359 ?

Your supplier is buying SB75, like he should.
But he should then be re-certifying to SB359 after he fins it.
If all he is trying to do is hand you the original SB75 cert then he has skipped some testing that he should be doing after fining.
