I am applying prescribed displacement to series of nodes at a boundary, but when it runs, only those applied nodes move and other parts of mesh stay unchanged.
does anybody knows whats my problem?
regards

RE: mesh doesn't respond correctly to prescribed displacement

If its a dynamic analysis then the units of the density could be wrong (e.g. nonconsistent unit system)
