Power plant water chemistry literature

Power plant water chemistry literature

(OP)
Hi,
I'm looking for comprehensive and modern literature on power plant water chemistry. Anyone have any suggestions?
What i'm looking for:
-History/evolution of water treatment
-Used treatment programs
-Used chemicals
-Description of mechanisms - stress corrosion cracking, FAC, pitting, erosion, depositions, etc
-Covering nuclear, conventional, HRSG, etc
-Materials

Tried to google it, but I either find very specific articles or general (non-power plant specific) description of corrosion phenomena.
I'd like to find ONE good book to start with

RE: Power plant water chemistry literature

Start with the public papers at EPRI, you will find about 100+ that address your specific areas of concern.

try <www.iawps.com>; for general recommendations and <www.ppchem.net>; for background technical papers

I have a book by Betz that is decent. It is called "Handbook of Industrial Water Conditioning".

When I tried googling it led me to this site too

http://www.gewater.com/handbook/index.jsp

which I did not read through, but it looks like the topics it covers are good.
