Raised face vs. flat face flanges

Raised face vs. flat face flanges

Raised face vs. flat face flanges

(OP)
A 10" 1500# RF spectacle blind has a combined thickness of 2 1/2" (including the 1/4" raised faces). If I wanted to buy flat face spectacle blinds instead of raised face, then would the thickness be only 2"?

Thanks,
P1p3r

RE: Raised face vs. flat face flanges

Remember to change your gaskets also.
And check the bolt toques for those new gaskets.

RE: Raised face vs. flat face flanges

Please use flat face #1500 at your own risk ONLY. Keep it well away from my back yard!

you must get smarter than the software you're using.
