Banner Plots

Banner Plots

(OP)
The company I work for manufactures long cylindrical products. Typically the ratio of length to diameter is such that plotting to standard sheet sizes can be unsatisfactory. I have experimented with the broken view feature but this cannot be used in conjunction with shaded views (at least not in 2001 plus). We have an Epson Stylus 3000 colour plotter which can plot on a banner format. The maximum paper length however is limited to 44" and the print resolution is quite poor compared to printing on standard sheet sizes.
Does anyone know of a solution to this? eg third party software which allows you to print shaded views to a higher resolution and to a longer banner length than 44".

RE: Banner Plots

Try using the broken views and then use the eDrawings.  eDrawings was able to shade a drawing view before SWX incorporated it (in 2001+ ?).  Then print preview the eDrawing to see if that looks like what you want.

Good luck,
