Custom Hole Callout

Custom Hole Callout

Custom Hole Callout

(OP)
I have an advanced question that I'm hoping someone might have an answer or workaround for. I've setup a new drafting standards file and am trying to modify the Hole Callouts. I have specific Prefixes and Suffixes for the various hole features. I've found that when I have a THRU hole, it removes any Depth prefixes or suffixes that I have. <See Attached>. What I want is to keep the Drill prefix regardless of it being a Thru or blind depth.

Furthermore, can I add my own custom Parameters such as a custom note that I can move around within the parameters tree?

Thanks for any help or advice!

RE: Custom Hole Callout

Which version do you use?
In NX9 you can find the hole callout settings in customer defautls:
1. file/utilities/customer defaults
2. drafting/general...then click on Standard tab and select the standard. Click on Customize standard
3. under drafting standards, the last one is Hole Callout. There you have the settings for each hole type.

Hope, that this helps.

I appreciate the response! However this is the area I was referring to where the prefixes and suffixes get removed when the hole is a THRU hole. I also want to add a custom parameter to these hole callout designations.
