Routing mechanical, removing extra decimals from length attribute

Routing mechanical, removing extra decimals from length attribute

Routing mechanical, removing extra decimals from length attribute

(OP)
Hello everyone!

Did some of you face similar problem?
I am using NX8.5/TC9.1

- In routing mechanical create a new stock (Stock operation to routing path).
(Stock as components is ON in customer defaults)
- Right-click the created component and choose properties--attributes
- There are two attributes for LENGTH, one numeric and one string
Is it possible to cut the number of decimals in string-LENGTH attribute IN THE COMPONENT item? (it goes forward to drawing, etc.)

---
So far, I was removing the decimals manually by changing string-LENGTH attribute or by changing the style of length column in drafting (length column, Style, Cells tab, Format to number, reduce decimal places).
Both variants are not preferable for our current setup.

I also tried creating a template where I can link numerical-LENGTH attribute to an expression, then round the expression and link it to string-LENGTH attribute... but system does not allow putting two attributes of the same name.

Does anyone know how to solve it?

Alexander.
